ACTIVITY 1 - What is Customer Service?

This activity encourages the student to start thinking about what is meant by the term ‘customer service’ and looks at situations in which customer service is provided by staff in a variety of organisations. Job roles of the staff in our case study organisations are examined, emphasising that customer service is the responsibility of all staff and that every business understands that excellent customer service must be provided if it is to survive and prosper.
